Spectators: 7214 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 125) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gogo Ederono took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Gogo Ederono's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicanor Gagriel was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The supporters of Ragamuffin Jrs booed when Paternal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Benvido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th match minute, Ragamuffin Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Rocio to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Vermudo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes in the game, Ceferino Honrio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Salvador Rufo having to interfere. A hard shot 30 in the game by Ulises Muc from a close distance when the talented Salvador Rufo managed to make a qualified save. Ragamuffin Jrs's players were relieved. After having played for 32 minutes, Ulises Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paternal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Muc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Rufo came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Paternal AFC's Ulises Muc. But to his dismay, Ulises Muc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ulises Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Salvador Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Ragamuffin Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Honrio came free, but Salvador Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bonifacio Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Honrio to make the kick off. When Gogo Ederono came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ragamuffin Jrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Ederono couldn't finish the play. Paternal AFC's Nicanor Gagriel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Paternal AFC from getting a goal against them. Ulises Muc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Ragamuffin Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Honrio came free, but Salvador Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Gagriel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Santana in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Uriel Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ragamuffin Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Chesus during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silvestre Chesus hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Uriel Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Salvador Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Honrio in the 81st minute of the match. Salvador Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Honrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute of the match, Bonifacio Danel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicanor Gagriel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 89 minutes, Delmiro Pacifico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paternal AFC and the Ragamuffin Jrs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicanor Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Ederono in the 91st minute of play. Uriel Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Paternal AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Baldomiro Nerio hit a great ball. Paternal AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
