Constantino Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Conrado Clodio struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Constantino Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nortcuys. Constantino Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Clodio in the 18th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Constantino Cruz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute, Nortcuys's Fabian Gaskon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When Conrado Clodio came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Nortcuys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Clodio couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Fabian Gaskon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sixto Lazcano came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sorento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Lazcano couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Clodio got free with Constantino Cruz in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantino Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Fortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Arnoldo Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Octavio Orlondon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 44 minutes into the match, Sorento's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Gaskon came free, but Constantino Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Clodio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, Mauricio Porfirio notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Sorento's Constantino Cruz. Constantino Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Arnoldo Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sorento defense, Conrado Clodio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Cruz. The Sorento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Cruz should have stopped the shot. Pascual Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Constantino Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Nortcuys's Adrian Fortun in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorento's goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the game, Nortcuys's Fabian Gaskon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantino Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Constantino Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Gaskon in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Herminio Erruki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Mitxaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Nortcuys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
