After 19 played minutes Jobson got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Miro. If Melquiades Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute, Melquiades Felipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Raven Dark FC's zone, Melquiades Felipo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Ado came out of the goal and Melquiades Felipo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Pelayo hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Jobson's Melquiades Felipo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Ado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Felipo to make the kick off. Maximino Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Ado having to interfere. Urbano Sayveon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Firmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Mariano Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Neron, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Melquiades Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Neron in the 88th minute of play. Mariano Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Sayveon in the 95th minute of the match.
