But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Gaztea couldn't finish the play. Boca Juniors's Mauricio Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes, Boca Juniors's Ernesto Benvido shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Salvador Gil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boca Juniors reached it. The audience was convinced that Uriel Pes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Gil was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Bariji FC's Salvador Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Gomez in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Mauricio Gomez made a precise shot to the right of Salvador Gil. Bariji FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Uriel Pes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bariji FC's Salvador Gil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boca Juniors's Virgilio Gaztea got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bariji FC's zone, Mauricio Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Gil came out of the goal and Mauricio Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Pes took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Gil. Salvador Gil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Pes in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Gil prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Pes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Uriel Pes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Gil was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Mauricio Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Salvador Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Uriel Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Pes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Gil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Gaztea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Salvador Gil made a huge save. After having played for 82 minutes, Uriel Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rogelio Henrico fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bariji FC's protests and gave Rogelio Henrico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Rogelio Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Uhin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bariji FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Leonel Luke hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Uriel Pes put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Salvador Gil. When the match was over Boca Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bariji FC throughout the match.
