Johnny Gräf was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Timoteo Velasco. When Generoso Guillelmus fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jobson's protests and gave Generoso Guillelmus a yellow card for diving instead. Arturo Bernebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Firmin having to interfere. Mariano Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Melquiades Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Johnny Gräf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Sportivo Cinzano's goalkeeper Johnny Gräf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Roland. Maximino Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Gräf having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Felipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Bernebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Natxo Urquijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Firmin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Reynardo in the 55th minute. A collision led to Jobson getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Adolfo Miro hit a great ball. Mariano Firmin made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Bonifacio Reynardo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Bonifacio Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Cinzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Reynardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Firmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Jobson getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Generoso Guillelmus hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Jobson's Maximino Roland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnny Gräf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giannis Tsimilis during the 73rd minute. Mariano Firmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bonifacio Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sportivo Cinzano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jobson.
