In the 26thth minute of the game Uriel Pes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bariji FC's Salvador Gil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogelio Henrico hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Mauricio Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Ganix's late challenge caught a Bariji FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Pes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salvador Gil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Gomez in the 54th minute of play. Salvador Gil came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Uriel Pes. But to his dismay, Uriel Pes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Virgilio Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Virgilio Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Esquipula kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Mauricio Gomez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Gil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Boca Juniors's Andrea Herrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Espiridion during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
