Angel Illan started the match with the kick off. Tomas Bizi hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Inocencio Demario fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Churrasquera FC's protests and gave Inocencio Demario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, one of La Churrasquera FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Churrasquera FC. The referee gave Saints FC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albano Nikola, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Churrasquera FC's Braulio Sugoi. 0-1. Gerardo Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Sugoi having to interfere. If Primitivo Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Romeo Goi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braulio Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Caetano took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Sugoi. Braulio Sugoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 41 minutes, Placido Isaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Churrasquera FC and the Saints FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Braulio Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Caetano in the 42nd minute of the match. When Angel Illan came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Saints FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Illan couldn't finish the play. Angel Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Sugoi having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Melquiades Primeiro made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Berbiz in the 52nd minute of play forced Saints FC's goalkeeper Pastor Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Primeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saints FC's Pastor Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Berbiz in the 61st minute of play. Leopoldo Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Saints FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Romeo Goi hit a great ball. La Churrasquera FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Saints FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeronimo Phelipe took the corner. The corner led La Churrasquera FC's Jeronimo Phelipe to fire away a dangerous shot which Pastor Petrigai despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, La Churrasquera FC's goalkeeper Braulio Sugoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Caetano. After having played for 78 minutes, Melquiades Primeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Churrasquera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Primeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Berbiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pastor Petrigai having to make a save. La Churrasquera FC's Braulio Sugoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save La Churrasquera FC from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Saints FC's Angel Illan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Braulio Sugoi. Braulio Sugoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. A hard shot by Albano Nikola from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Braulio Sugoi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Primitivo Caetano might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Sugoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Caetano ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Saints FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Churrasquera FC.
