But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Rufo couldn't finish the play. Benedicto Balasi kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cerrillos FC defense, Robustiano Arixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Fernandes. The Cerrillos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Fernandes should have stopped the shot. After having played for 21 minutes, Leo Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Ilixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Santo Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Cerrillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Arixo came free, but Prudencio Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SHET getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Valentin Ferrando hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, SHET was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Aimar to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Mancio made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Saturnino Rufo sent off a good shot on target. If Saturnino Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Ilixo scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Mancio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Cerrillos FC's Leo Ilixo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Robustiano Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Arixo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prudencio Fernandes having to make a save. Saturnino Rufo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Leandro Mancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrillos FC. SHET's Leandro Mancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ilixo in the 85th minute of play. If Octavio Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Fernandes came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by SHET's Octavio Raymundo. But to his dismay, Octavio Raymundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Cerrillos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SHET's performance. The match ended with a win for SHET.
