If Erasmo Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Tiburcio Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIV's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Domeka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Tabb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celedonio Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Melchor Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Nerio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Mithatha Bucks FC's Melchor Tabb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Mithatha Bucks FC from getting a goal against them. If Celedonio Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Mithatha Bucks FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Segundo Kaiet hit a great ball. When Celedonio Naike got free in front of the goal in the 32nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Melchor Tabb was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Celedonio Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Celedonio Naike managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Naike was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Tiburcio Domeka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melchor Tabb was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mithatha Bucks FC's Melchor Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Domeka in the 56th minute of play. If Santos Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dionisio Milian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Endura in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Milian saved HIV from getting behind. HIV's Tiburcio Domeka got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Celedonio Naike managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIV's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Naike was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Tabb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, HIV's Celedonio Naike nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melchor Tabb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 75 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Domeka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Tabb. Mithatha Bucks FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Domeka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 80th minute of the match Elpidio Arias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melchor Tabb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Hondo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rafael Hondo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Teodosio Quintan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melchor Tabb. Mithatha Bucks FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 87 minutes of play Mithatha Bucks FC's Rafael Hondo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Mithatha Bucks FC's Rafael Hondo got a free kick in the 88th minute. HIV's Teodosio Quintan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mithatha Bucks FC. The supporters of HIV booed when Mithatha Bucks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Kaiet didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Domeka in the 91st minute of play forced Mithatha Bucks FC's goalkeeper Melchor Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HIV's Celedonio Naike got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the HIV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
