The Antilla fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Antilla's Severiano Mazuste looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th minute of the game, Severiano Mazuste landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Arnulfo Eneto charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Eneto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Armando Jenaro came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Antilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Jenaro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Antilla getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Adolfo Nayely hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Siro Bernaldo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cosme Dei, passed just outside the right post. In the 26th minute Adolfo Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes, Aragonés FC's Arnulfo Eneto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oscar Constancio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aragonés FC reached it. When Braulio Machado fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aragonés FC's protests and gave Braulio Machado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Aragonés FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Machado to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Abel Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aragonés FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Hitzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Bernaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Dei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Siro Bernaldo took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Dei. Cosme Dei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some careless play in the Aragonés FC defense, Armando Jenaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Dei. The Aragonés FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Dei should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Abel Hitzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Nayely hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Mercurio got free with Oscar Constancio in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octavio Mercurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Constancio having to interfere. If Siro Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octavio Mercurio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Oscar Constancio made a huge save. Oscar Constancio stood somewhat misplaced when Abel Hitzeder came free in front of goal and shot 5-1 to the left of him in the 87 minute. 90 minutes into the match, Antilla's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Hitzeder came free, but Oscar Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th play minute Octavio Mercurio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oscar Constancio. 5-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Antilla fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aragonés FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
