If Vicente Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pampichuela were furious when Angelo Abaurre was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Leo Grabiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Bidun in the 16th minute of play. Rosendo Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Vinicio Mendiko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo 11 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. San Lorenzo 11's Vicente Bidun got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of San Lorenzo 11 booed when Pampichuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo 11's Vicente Bidun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leo Grabiel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Leo Grabiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Mendiko in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute San Lorenzo 11 were awarded a corner. Delmar Oskitz went to the cornerflag to take it. Leo Grabiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Mendiko's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Vinicio Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Pampichuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Lorenzo 11 were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonides Etxekopar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, one of San Lorenzo 11:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Lorenzo 11. The referee gave Pampichuela a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rosendo Sazon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of San Lorenzo 11's Aldo Bilintx. 1-5. In the 67th minute, Justino Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Nikola kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Leo Grabiel made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Filiberto Ekialde sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Candido Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72nd play minutes Filiberto Ekialde shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Leo Grabiel and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 75th minute, San Lorenzo 11's Filiberto Ekialde ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Grabiel. Leo Grabiel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Vinicio Mendiko kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Filiberto Ekialde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo 11's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pampichuela the free kick. After 85 played minutes San Lorenzo 11 got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Ekialde. Filiberto Ekialde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Oskitz got free with Leo Grabiel in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Filiberto Ekialde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Grabiel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Filiberto Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leo Grabiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Oskitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over San Lorenzo 11 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pampichuela throughout the match.
