Aragonés FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Mercurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braulio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Tabby having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Hitzeder in the 18th minute of play forced Pampero's goalkeeper Camilo Tabby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robustiano Janpier came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Pampero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Janpier couldn't finish the play. Octavio Mercurio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Camilo Tabby when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 26 minutes, Abel Hitzeder made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pampero's Camilo Tabby tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Omar Lobo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Dei was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Robustiano Janpier came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Pampero fans jumped to their feet. Cosme Dei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pampero.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Hitzeder made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Abel Hitzeder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Tabby was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. The supporters of Pampero booed when Aragonés FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Atarratze during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Pampero defense, Octavio Mercurio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Tabby. The Pampero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Tabby should have stopped the shot. Cosme Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Janpier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Cosme Dei made a huge save. Abel Hitzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
