Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodrigo Harriet kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes VERΛ got a freekick which was hit by Santos Eyague. After having played for 4 minutes, Delmiro Sotero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RENOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Sotero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Delmiro Sotero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Honrio. VERΛ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Sotero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eleuterio Rami kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes RENOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Rosario. Rodrigo Harriet struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Teodoro Buinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VERΛ. In the 16th minute, VERΛ's Angelo Llorian seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Angelo Llorian the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VERΛ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Angelo Llorian had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score was 2-0 after a penalty in the 18th minute, where RENOS FC:s Cayetano Maureo tricked VERΛ:s Ricardo Honrio with a difficult ball by the left post. In the 21st minute, Delmiro Sotero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. VERΛ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Celestino Telesforo scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Honrio, making the score, 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, RENOS FC's Delmiro Sotero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Honrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Harriet might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Buinton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Harriet ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodoro Buinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Harriet in the 31st minute of the match. Cayetano Maureo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Samuel Bingen struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ricardo Honrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RENOS FC. Celestino Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ricardo Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Telesforo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Denis Txomin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Sotero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Txomin in the 66th minute of play forced RENOS FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Santos Eyague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RENOS FC's Cayetano Maureo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for VERΛ. The supporters of RENOS FC booed when VERΛ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Guillem didn't get a good kick on the ball. RENOS FC's Delmiro Sotero got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Samuel Bingen came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the RENOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Bingen couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Honrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 83 minutes of play, RENOS FC's Celestino Telesforo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Honrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Delmiro Sotero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Honrio. Teodoro Buinton came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by VERΛ's Teobaldo Hegoi. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Hegoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. If Teobaldo Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RENOS FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while VERΛ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
