With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Lobo in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Mateo saved Saira from getting behind. Jeremias Javiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Tabby having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremias Javiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diego Mateo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Pampero's Diego Mateo threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Omar Lobo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
