With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Belmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Toro in the 19th minute of play forced Juarense's goalkeeper Cipriano Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. But to his dismay, Enzo Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 29th match minute, Juarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Urre to maneuver through the defense. ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's Geronimo Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save ⲨⲀⲚⲀ from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Juarense's Florencio Colon got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cipriano Belmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Furtado in the 39th minute of play. If Eulalio Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Toro in the 43rd minute of play forced Juarense's goalkeeper Cipriano Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Andres Chayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juarense the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Toro made a kick off. Cipriano Belmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ⲨⲀⲚⲀ. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Toro in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Belmiro saved Juarense from getting behind.
