The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silverio Fernanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jonatan Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Montrell in the 9th minute of play forced Calimonte's goalkeeper Jonatan Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Faustino Montay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kryspin Brytka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Blai's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Procopio in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Cordaro saved Calimonte from getting behind. Lino Montrell hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Calimonte's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Procopio came free, but Jonatan Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Fernanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Calimonte getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jeronimo Jon hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Dante Blai made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, dep.Italiano's Ignacio Procopio got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Dante Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Brytka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kryspin Brytka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Blai in the 64th minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, dep.Italiano's Haroldo Aritza made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Cordaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kryspin Brytka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jonatan Cordaro was a little too slow when Ignacio Procopio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Procopio in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Cordaro saved Calimonte from getting behind. After 85 played minutes dep.Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Lino Montrell. dep.Italiano's Kryspin Brytka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Blai in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Teodosio Orain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the dep.Italiano and the Calimonte players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes dep.Italiano got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Orain. Kryspin Brytka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Blai in the 94th minute of play. Ignacio Procopio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jonatan Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
