Prudencio Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Jerardo in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Cristo Jerardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casares's Prudencio Gaitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Casares booed when Sachayoj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Maurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casares's Osvaldo Magdaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Lon struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Evelio Pelagius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casares. In the 29thth minute of the game Cristo Jerardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casares's Prudencio Gaitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Osvaldo Magdaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Magdaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sachayoj's zone, Osvaldo Magdaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Pelagius came out of the goal and Osvaldo Magdaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Evelio Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Marcelino Dimas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sachayoj the free kick. In the 49th match minute, Casares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Dimas to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Argenis's shot from long distance in the 49th minute was not bad at all, but Casares's Prudencio Gaitan knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Jerardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Sachayoj's Evelio Pelagius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sachayoj from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes of play, Sachayoj's Cristo Jerardo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Gaitan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bartolo Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes of play Casares's Marcelino Dimas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Lon got free with Evelio Pelagius in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Lon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Casares's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Cristo Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sachayoj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Jerardo in the 72nd minute of play forced Casares's goalkeeper Prudencio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Jerardo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Jerardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Casares getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Artemio Jerardo hit a great ball. Cristo Jerardo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prudencio Gaitan. Prudencio Gaitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Luisito Osasun hit a great ball. In the 87th minute of the match Segundo Moise sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prudencio Gaitan skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Lartaun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Gaitan was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Narciso Lon took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Evelio Pelagius to make any attempt to save it. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
