Danilo Telo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Cortez in the 20th minute of play. Danilo Telo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvano Cortez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Gilberto Toribios short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Danilo Telo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Asamblea's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Cortez came free, but Danilo Telo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Telo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Pituti FC's Gilberto Toribio. But to his dismay, Gilberto Toribio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 39 minutes into the game, Alonzo Vermudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pituti FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asamblea the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Pituti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Asamblea's Romeo Irrintzi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Danilo Telo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Toribio went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genaro Salomon to strike the kick off in the second half. Romeo Irrintzi charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Irrintzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pituti FC booed when Asamblea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Serafino Teyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pituti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Teyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Telo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Cortez took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Telo. Danilo Telo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 78th minute Lazaro Sando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Telo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Silvano Cortez made a precise shot to the right of Danilo Telo. Asamblea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 87 minutes into the game, Silvano Cortez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Danilo Telo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asamblea's goalkeeper Danilo Telo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Clegg during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Asamblea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Clegg to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Pituti FC were the better team. Pituti FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
