Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Peñitas's Hipolito Nuno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabian Tome didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Lartaun went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Peñitas's Fabian Tome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Jerardo in the 8th minute of play. Bartolo Lartaun in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabian Tome, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fabian Tome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Bartolo Lartaun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sachayoj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peñitas the free kick. In the 95thth minute of the game Hipolito Nuno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sachayoj's Evelio Pelagius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
