In the 18th minute, Cristo Jerardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Everardo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Jerardo in the 22nd minute of play. When Erasmo Venerando came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Yariguarenda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Venerando couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Natalio Senon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Yariguarenda FC booed when Sachayoj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Azeari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Evelio Pelagius successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rd minute, Celestino Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Evaristo Hechter sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sachayoj's Evelio Pelagius didn't even have to move. 37 minutes into the match, Yariguarenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Lartaun came free, but Everardo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Senon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Yariguarenda FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Everardo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Lartaun in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Yariguarenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Bazil to maneuver through the defense. The Yariguarenda FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sachayoj were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Senon made a kick off. Bartolo Lartaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Everardo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Senon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Pelagius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Sachayoj's Evelio Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Senon in the 60th minute of play. If Bartolo Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Cristo Jerardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Everardo Santos, 0-2. Evelio Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Manni charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Manni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Yariguarenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Manni to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Celestino Argenis from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Everardo Santos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Evelio Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Senon in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yariguarenda FC's goalkeeper Everardo Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristo Jerardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Segundo Moise shot from long distance in the 82nd minute, but Everardo Santos was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Sachayoj's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Venerando came free, but Evelio Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sachayoj's Celestino Argenis got a free kick in the 87th minute. Evelio Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Senon in the 89th minute of the match. Erasmo Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Venerando in the 93rd minute of play forced Sachayoj's goalkeeper Evelio Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sachayoj supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sachayoj would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
