Casares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Magdaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Casares's zone, Ernesto Precioso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Gaitan came out of the goal and Ernesto Precioso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ice Valley FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Osvaldo Magdaleno 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Tobias Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Magdaleno in the 33rd minute of the match. Narciso Lon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tobias Oihenarte made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Marcelino Dimas took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Tobias Oihenarte to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Magdaleno in the 42nd minute of play forced Ice Valley FC's goalkeeper Tobias Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Osasun charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Osasun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Narciso Lon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Oihenarte was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. If Ernesto Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ernesto Precioso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casares's Prudencio Gaitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Magdaleno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Oihenarte. Ice Valley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Magdaleno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ice Valley FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Casares.
