Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Donato Txomin got the match started through his kick off. Marcelino Dimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Augusto Galindo struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Prudencio Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Córdoba City FC. The supporters of Casares booed when Córdoba City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Jerardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Casares getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ruben Frances hit a great ball. Prudencio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Txomin in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Córdoba City FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Dabi. Narciso Lon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvaro Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Lon in the 22nd minute of the match. Prudencio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Casares getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Luisito Osasun hit a great ball. If Celestino Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Augusto Galindo in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Prudencio Gaitan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 33rd minute, Celestino Modestio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Dimas took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Perrando. Alvaro Perrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 39 minutes, Dionisio Jerano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casares and the Córdoba City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, one of Casares:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Casares. Casares:s Prudencio Gaitan showed great skill when he stopped Augusto Galindo:s penalty. A hard shot 42 in the game by Prudencio Llorienzo from a close distance when the talented Prudencio Gaitan managed to make a qualified save. Casares's players were relieved. Narciso Lon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alvaro Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Perrando having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Magdaleno made a kick off. Narciso Lons short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Alvaro Perrando to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Córdoba City FC's Alvaro Perrando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Córdoba City FC from getting a goal against them. Prudencio Gaitan came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Córdoba City FC's Donato Txomin. But to his dismay, Donato Txomin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tobias Arano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Casares's Narciso Lon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvaro Perrando. Alvaro Perrando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 71st minute of the match Guido Dabi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prudencio Gaitan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luisito Osasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Perrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Casares defense, Donato Txomin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Gaitan. The Casares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Gaitan should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute of the match, Osvaldo Magdaleno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alvaro Perrando saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Prudencio Llorienzo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Córdoba City FC's protests and gave Prudencio Llorienzo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Córdoba City FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Prudencio Llorienzo hit a great ball. Ulises Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Osvaldo Magdaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prudencio Gaitan came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Córdoba City FC's Augusto Galindo. But to his dismay, Augusto Galindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Prudencio Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Galindo in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Córdoba City FC's Guido Dabi got a free kick in the 86th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisito Osasun during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Córdoba City FC booed when Casares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, Casares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Jerano to maneuver through the defense. When Augusto Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Córdoba City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Galindo couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Córdoba City FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Casares had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
