But to his dismay, Bernabe Manni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Ernestina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Senon came free, but Marcial Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 40 in the game by Nicasio Aballe from a close distance when the talented Everardo Santos managed to make a qualified save. Yariguarenda FC's players were relieved. Bernabe Manni's late challenge caught a Ernestina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernabe Manni helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ernestina FC booed when Yariguarenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernestina FC:s Marcial Goito showed great skill when he stopped Evaristo Hechter:s penalty. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yariguarenda FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
