The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ernestina FC's Nicasio Aballe got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Sachayoj's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nicasio Aballe 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Omar Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Igor Eusko made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Goito. Ernestina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Evelio Pelagius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Henric in the 23rd minute. Marcial Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Jerardo in the 26th minute of the match. Norberto Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marcial Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Norberto Maurin took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Goito. Marcial Goito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Abelardo Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Pelagius having to interfere. Bartolo Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Ernestina FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sachayoj were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Jerardo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Jerardo in the 52nd minute of play forced Ernestina FC's goalkeeper Marcial Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ernestina FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Amador Maurino hit a great ball. Cristo Jerardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Goito having to interfere. If Igor Eusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Lartauns short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Marcial Goito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bartolo Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Goito was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Bartolo Lartaun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bartolo Lartaun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Marcial Goito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Lartaun in the 81st minute. Marcial Goito made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Bartolo Lartaun sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
