When Americo Bieito came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ernestina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Bieito couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Peñitas's Isidro Phelipe got a free kick in the 6th minute. Marcial Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Nuno in the 10th minute of the match. Victorino Ganix who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Marcial Goito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Peñitas's Ezequiel Celipe got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ernestina FC's Marcial Goito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ernestina FC from getting a goal against them. Hipolito Nuno struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Marcial Goito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peñitas. Marcial Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Juan Ellande fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peñitas's protests and gave Juan Ellande a yellow card for diving instead. Peñitas's Fabian Tome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Bieito in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Peñitas's zone, Abelardo Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Tome came out of the goal and Abelardo Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Victorino Ganix took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcial Goito to make any attempt to save it. Amador Maurino hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Peñitas's Ezequiel Celipe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Ellande in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Goito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Marcial Goito managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Peñitas's Jacinto Erdiano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Juan Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peñitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Ellande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Goito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Ganix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Marcial Goito made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Nuno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcial Goito. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Hipolito Nuno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcial Goito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ramon Henric hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Estevez was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Ganix during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victorino Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Marcial Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Marcial Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Nuno in the 63rd minute of play. Ernestina FC's Marcial Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Ganix in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ernestina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Nuno came free, but Marcial Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes Ernestina FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Maurino. Ezequiel Celipe, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 78th minute of the match Isidro Phelipe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Goito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Victorino Ganix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Goito was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The Peñitas fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Peñitas's Victorino Ganix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 91st minute, Salvador Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ernestina FC's Haroldo Quinten got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Marcial Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Ganix in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Ernestina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Ganix came free, but Marcial Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peñitas had won after a very even match.
