Peñitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Nuno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Chayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Peñitas booed when Pituti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Lordi in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Tome saved Peñitas from getting behind. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peñitas's goalkeeper Fabian Tome, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gilberto Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Peñitas's goalkeeper Fabian Tome had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Toribio. Apolo Lehoi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Fabian Tome skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 51 minutes of play, Pituti FC's Apolo Lehoi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Tome was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Gilberto Toribio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Tome. Peñitas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Fabian Tome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Lordi in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Apolo Lehoi notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Peñitas's Fabian Tome. Fabian Tome was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victoriano Lain's late challenge caught a Pituti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Lain helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Peñitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Lain to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st match minute, Peñitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Ganix to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Lehoi in the 80th minute of play forced Peñitas's goalkeeper Fabian Tome to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pituti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Lehoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Peñitas got a freekick which was hit by Juan Ellande. When the referee ended the match the Pituti FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
