Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donato Txomin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Everardo Santos made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Augusto Galindo sent off a good shot on target. If Bernabe Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Córdoba City FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alejandro Lugo hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes, Yariguarenda FC's Evaristo Hechter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Perrando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yariguarenda FC reached it. In the 13thth minute of the game Donato Txomin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yariguarenda FC's Everardo Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Everardo Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Donato Txomin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Everardo Santos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Yariguarenda FC's zone, Augusto Galindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Santos came out of the goal and Augusto Galindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Manni charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Manni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernabe Manni hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Augusto Galindo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Santos. Everardo Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Córdoba City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Manni came free, but Alvaro Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Yariguarenda FC defense, Donato Txomin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Santos. The Yariguarenda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Santos should have stopped the shot. Alejandro Lugo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Everardo Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Córdoba City FC. Alvaro Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Manni in the 34th minute of play. Angelo Savion kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Yariguarenda FC booed when Córdoba City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Lugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Yariguarenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Lugo came free, but Everardo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Domingos Enetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Perrando having to interfere. In the 49th minute of the match Yariguarenda FC got a corner. Córdoba City FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evaristo Hechter ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Evaristo Hechter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alvaro Perrando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Senon was the one to do the kick off. Alvaro Perrando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Venerando in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Donato Txomin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Córdoba City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Txomin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everardo Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Txomin in the 61st minute of play. Natalio Senon took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Perrando. Alvaro Perrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 68th minute Natalio Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Córdoba City FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Celestino Modestio hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Yariguarenda FC's Alvaro Perrando threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Natalio Senon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 72nd minute, Donato Txomin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernabe Manni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 minutes, Augusto Galindo made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yariguarenda FC's Everardo Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Perrando made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Domingos Enetz sent off a good shot on target. Donato Txomin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match Córdoba City FC got a corner. Yariguarenda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Galindo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Córdoba City FC's Alvaro Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Salvator in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Córdoba City FC booed when Yariguarenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Salvator didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Txomin struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Everardo Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Córdoba City FC. In the 97th minute, Ulises Hats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yariguarenda FC's Evaristo Hechter took a good shot, in the 98th minute, which hit the crossbar above Alvaro Perrando's head, and flew over the goal. Córdoba City FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Yariguarenda FC. Yariguarenda FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
