Marcial Goito made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Narciso Lon sent off a good shot on target. When Nicasio Aballe fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ernestina FC's protests and gave Nicasio Aballe a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the game, Galarza AFC's Osvaldo Magdaleno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Goito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Ernestina FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ramon Henric hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Narciso Lon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Osvaldo Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute, Luisito Osasun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ernestina FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Jerardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Galarza AFC's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot by Niceto Macias from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Marcial Goito's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 30th play minute Narciso Lon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcial Goito. 3-0. Narciso Lon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Marcial Goito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Ernestina FC defense, Osvaldo Magdaleno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Goito. The Ernestina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Goito should have stopped the shot. Marcial Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Dimas in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Americo Bieito notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Galarza AFC's Prudencio Gaitan. Prudencio Gaitan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute, Narciso Lon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Goito was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1.

When Galarza AFC's Narciso Lon in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ernestina FC's goalie prevented a goal. Marcial Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Lon in the 55th minute of the match.
