The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edelmiro Sedeni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Dabi in the 8th minute of play. Horcones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Dabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Abeijon having to interfere. Niceto Policarpio took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Abeijon. Modesto Abeijon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Victor Martinez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Felipe Duardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Sedeni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Dumesnil FC's Victor Martinez got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cornelio Dabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Dumesnil FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Sedeni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Bernaldo. If Felipe Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Dabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Flor charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Flor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Niceto Policarpio made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Abeijon. Horcones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The Dumesnil FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Dumesnil FC's Niceto Policarpio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eduardo Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dumesnil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Flor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Dumesnil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Dabi came free, but Edelmiro Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horcones's Modesto Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Avellaneda in the 87th minute of play. Felipe Duardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Sedeni having to interfere. In the 96th minute Hilario Chesus collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Eduardo Flor hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dumesnil FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Horcones had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
