Basilio Edorta kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gilberto Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pituti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Rafael Berdaitz's late challenge caught a Galarza AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Galarza AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Prudencio Gaitan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Lehoi's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Gilberto Toribio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prudencio Gaitan. Galarza AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, Pituti FC's Apolo Lehoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Gaitan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Dimas during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
