After 2 played minutes CASA LEGGIO FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Herena. After a defensive mix-up in CASA LEGGIO FC's zone, Roger Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Nisio came out of the goal and Roger Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Nicolas Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Nisio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CASA LEGGIO FC's Higinio Nisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Linhares in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes CASA LEGGIO FC got a freekick which was hit by David Eusko. After some careless play in the CASA LEGGIO FC defense, Salvador Edwardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Nisio. The CASA LEGGIO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Nisio should have stopped the shot. CASA LEGGIO FC's Higinio Nisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Linhares in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Linhares in the 22nd minute of play forced CASA LEGGIO FC's goalkeeper Higinio Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. David Eusko struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ciriaco Perutxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CASA LEGGIO FC. CASA LEGGIO FC's David Eusko got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvio Venceslao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, CASA LEGGIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Urritz to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Chucho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciriaco Perutxo came out and tried to block the shot, but Vladimiro Chucho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute Roger Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Nisio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Edwardo in the 51st minute of play forced CASA LEGGIO FC's goalkeeper Higinio Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Villa Castells's goal looked a bit too open when David Eusko came free, but Ciriaco Perutxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Silvio Venceslao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Villa Castells's Roger Linhares made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Nisio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amadeo Urritz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Nicolas Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Castells's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Arnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Nisio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Salvador Edwardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Higinio Nisio. That made the score 1-3 in the 65 minute of play. Higinio Nisio was a little too slow when Nicolas Arnas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 75th minute, Nicolas Arnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Silvio Venceslao managed to get in a good position for a shot. CASA LEGGIO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Venceslao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Perutxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 81 minutes, Silvio Venceslao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CASA LEGGIO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Venceslao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Arnas took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higinio Nisio. Higinio Nisio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Javier Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Perutxo having to interfere. The Villa Castells supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Castells would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
