If Lázaro Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Amaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Javiar was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Lázaro Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Javiar having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Lázaro Berdoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Inko to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lázaro Berdoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Javiar. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. Alvaro Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Ciriaco Macias in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by la juventus's Walery Sadlowski. Tito Companys's late challenge caught a Leones Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tito Companys helped the player get up and apologised. Manuel Javiar was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Lázaro Berdoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lázaro Berdoi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Leones Futbol Club's Eduardo Lazcano was substituted for Cosmin Contra.
