Domingos Gimenez took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Velasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Errolan in the 18th minute of play forced Billinghurst's goalkeeper Marco Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Gimenez in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Justo Dolcet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Billinghurst fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 23 minutes into the match, Billinghurst's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Gimenez came free, but Marco Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
