Geronimo Munio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Maximiliano Dolcet made a huge save. Anibal Caitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Geronimo Munio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Dolcet having to interfere. Geronimo Munio in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximiliano Dolcet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Cuesta FC's Felipe Senen got a free kick in the 21st minute. Cristian Oinatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, one of Cuesta FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Maximiliano Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Cristian Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ booed when Cuesta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Geronimo Munio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Oinatz to make the kick off. When Felipe Senen fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuesta FC's protests and gave Felipe Senen a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Cuesta FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Senen. In the 54th minute, Geronimo Munio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Dolcet was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Munio in the 60th minute of play forced Cuesta FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match, Mario Osmundo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anibal Caitano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maximiliano Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Munio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Geronimo Munio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ's zone, Daniel Enmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Caitano came out of the goal and Daniel Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Oinatz in the 86th minute of play forced Cuesta FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Oinatz scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Dolcet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ fully deserved thier win.
