The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Lluques got free with Veljko Měšťan in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ranqueles AFC booed when Piquete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Daniel Koldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veljko Měšťan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piquete FC's Cayetano Mogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Arce in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Haroldo Mirande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ranqueles AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piquete FC the free kick. 26 minutes into the game, one of Ranqueles AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Piquete FC defense, Leonides Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Mogel. The Piquete FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Mogel should have stopped the shot. Cayetano Mogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Arce in the 34th minute of play. Veljko Měšťan made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Elias Lluques sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Piquete FC defense, Daniel Koldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Mogel. The Piquete FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Mogel should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Elias Lluques made the kick off in the second half. Simon Gartxot charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Gartxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cayetano Mogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Koldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Elias Lluques took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Veljko Měšťan. Veljko Měšťan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Hermengildo Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Piquete FC's goalkeeper Cayetano Mogel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Otsoko. 65 minutes into the match, Ranqueles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Victoro came free, but Veljko Měšťan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Mogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Arce in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match, Haroldo Mirande tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cayetano Mogel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute Leonides Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Gilberto Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Gualterio Poz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cayetano Mogel. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 77th match minute, Piquete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Lluques to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Cayetano Mogel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gualterio Poz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Veljko Měšťan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Lluques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Piquete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Arce came free, but Cayetano Mogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Haroldo Mirande was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, Leonides Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Piquete FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ranqueles AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
