After a defensive mix-up in Pergamino FC's zone, Celso Urtats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Primo came out of the goal and Celso Urtats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Urtats, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Papin AFC's Celso Urtats got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Urtats in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pergamino FC's Godfredo Enmanuel got a free kick in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Ederono during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Urtats was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Papin AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Elpidio Ederono hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Bazil during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Papin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Bazil to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Pergamino FC's Narciso Primo got control of the ball when Celso Urtats tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haakon Gaafar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Primo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Benjamin Azibar sent off a good shot on target. If Celso Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vicente Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Humberto Astudillo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Papin AFC's Mario Dalmau shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Narciso Primo but with some difficulty. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pergamino FC had played much better football throughout.
