The Rinconada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Casla were winning 0-1.

After 50 minutes, Teobaldo Tono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casla and the Rinconada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute of the match Rinconada got a corner. Casla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcos Bermudo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Rinconada's Santiago Guillen got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 77 minutes, Victoriano Luar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rinconada and the Casla players grew even worse after the yellow card.
