Club Atletico Gigisones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético River Plate the free kick. After 4 played minutes Club Atletico Gigisones got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Raymon. After 11 played minutes Club Atlético River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Leon Ubendu. Placido Jacindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Placido Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Jacindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Ortzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 18 minutes, Baltasar Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Gil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Club Atlético River Plate fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Club Atlético River Plate's Baltasar Gil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Gigisones's zone, Placido Jacindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Ortzi came out of the goal and Placido Jacindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atletico Gigisones's Abel Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Gil in the 33rd minute of play. Placido Jacindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Abel Ortzi managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Club Atlético River Plate's Baltasar Gil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Raymon made a kick off. Abel Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cristo Etor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Abel Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the game Pastor Alonso made a throw-in which Baltasar Gil played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Gil in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Ortzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Placido Jacindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Fabio Cordario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Gigisones and the Club Atlético River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Fabio Cordario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Club Atletico Gigisones booed when Club Atlético River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abel Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Baltasar Gil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Gigisones's Abel Ortzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Cristo Etor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Abel Ortzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Atlético River Plate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
