Batea AFC's Jimmie Henriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Policarpio in the 11th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Churriaca AFC's Elpidio Astigar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jimmie Henriksson. Jimmie Henriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Elpidio Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Henriksson having to interfere. Jimmie Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Policarpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Astigar couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Estevon was the one to do the kick off. Jimmie Henriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Erramu in the 53rd minute of the match. Elpidio Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Henriksson having to interfere. Virgilio Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Churriaca AFC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Batea AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonas Policarpio took the corner. Churriaca AFC's Jonas Policarpio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jimmie Henriksson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 84th minute, Saturnino Obano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Brian Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Batea AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Astigar came free, but Jimmie Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Virgilio Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churriaca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Estevon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmie Henriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Batea AFC's zone, Jonas Policarpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmie Henriksson came out of the goal and Jonas Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmie Henriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Estevon in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Churriaca AFC were the better team. Churriaca AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
