Nuno Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Laferrere FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Edwardo. 12 minutes into the match, Tandil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Iratxo came free, but Omar Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Gerardo Onbera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Schmidts short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Cleto Orlin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Nuno Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Venceslas in the 29th minute of play. Nuno Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tandil FC's Gerardo Onbera got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Tandil FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laferrere FC:s goal. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Laferrere FC. Gonzalo Berto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Omar Irrintzi. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Nuno Schmidt put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cleto Orlin. Cleto Orlin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nuno Schmidt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Schmidt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Nuno Schmidt made a precise shot to the right of Cleto Orlin. Laferrere FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Cleto Orlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Omar Irrintzi was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Lucas Chico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Chico really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Olando during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cleto Orlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Schmidt went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Laferrere FC's Cleto Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Schmidt in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Schmidt in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Orlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Orlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes Laferrere FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Olando. If Arturo Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Francesco during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tandil FC booed when Laferrere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Laferrere FC's zone, Nuno Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Orlin came out of the goal and Nuno Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Nuno Schmidt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Orlin was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Tandil FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
