When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Ermegildo Itzaina took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Braulio Fliz to make any attempt to save it. Hipolito Locaio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Godofredo Otsoko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garompas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Temperley the free kick. After 26 played minutes Garompas FC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Otsoko. In the 28th match minute, Garompas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Maurino to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Gustavo Inguma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Temperley were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Garompas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodolfo Guzman took the corner. The corner led Temperley's Rodolfo Guzman to fire away a dangerous shot which Moises Jordy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Garompas FC's Moises Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Inguma in the 34th minute of play. Ermegildo Itzaina struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Braulio Fliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garompas FC. If Gavino Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ermegildo Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garompas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Itzaina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Fliz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Celio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Itzaina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hipolito Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match, Gustavo Inguma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moises Jordy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Euloxu couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Inguma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Euloxu struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Moises Jordy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temperley. 71 minutes into the game, Gustavo Inguma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 72nd minute Joaquin Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Lisandro Bartoli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Temperley and the Garompas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 79 minutes play.
