The coaching staff of Rosario Central protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Siro Chabier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 3rd minute, one of Rosario Central:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rosario Central. Domingos Luzea had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Flavio Curcio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Basilio Alfonso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Domingos Luzea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Jakes in the 8th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Domingos Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Paulino Mattin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Marciano Urbes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingos Luzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Jakes in the 14th minute of the match. Marciano Urbes's late challenge caught a tobysss F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Urbes helped the player get up and apologised. Marciano Urbes hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Domingos Luzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Basilio Alfonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingos Luzea. Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Alfonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Macias came free, but Domingos Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
