Norberto Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Carlos Lucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Normando stood somewhat misplaced when Isaac Llorian came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Abelardo Ado charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Ado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1910's goalkeeper Israel Normando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaac Llorian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Israel Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, 1910's Geronimo Emenon got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes, Carlos Teyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INDEPENDIENTE and the 1910 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Lucero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. INDEPENDIENTE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Ladio in the 46th minute. A nice corner shot did that Saul Ladio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Israel Normando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Geronimo Emenon hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Gregory to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Llorian in the 64th minute of play forced 1910's goalkeeper Israel Normando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Norberto Gregory took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Carlos Lucero to make any attempt to save it. INDEPENDIENTE's Carlos Lucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Gregory in the 79th minute of play. Isaac Llorian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, 1910 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Bidari to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Llorian's late challenge caught a 1910's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Llorian helped the player get up and apologised. INDEPENDIENTE's Carlos Teyo got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Carlos Teyo off the ground. In the 97th minute, Carlos Teyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that INDEPENDIENTE were the better team. INDEPENDIENTE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
