An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bihar in the 31st minute of play forced Zona Pedernera's goalkeeper Marcial Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Eustaquio Bihar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 35 played minutes Zona Pedernera got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Etxepare. 39 minutes in the game Carlos Etxepare did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fidel Sotero. Marcial Vincente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Bihar went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Bihar to strike the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Orixe in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Eustaquio Bihar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Vincente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Eustaquio Bihar took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Vincente. Marcial Vincente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 62 minutes into the match, Zona Pedernera's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Bihar came free, but Marcial Vincente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zona Pedernera's Valentin Abar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Obanta made a substitution. Benjamin Gilabert replaced Luka Dončić. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zona Pedernera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciriaco Jerold was slow to take the kick. During this time Obanta's players had a chance to rest. After 69 played minutes Zona Pedernera got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Francho. After a defensive mix-up in Zona Pedernera's zone, Ciriaco Jerold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Vincente came out of the goal and Ciriaco Jerold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zona Pedernera's Marcial Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Bihar in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Enrique Orixe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Lisandro Presebal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Obanta's Ciriaco Jerold got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Baldomero Norino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zona Pedernera the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Obanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zona Pedernera:s goal. Obanta:s Lisandro Presebal showed great skill when he stopped Enrique Orixe:s penalty. The excitement rose when Zona Pedernera's Enrique Orixe after 90 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Obanta's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-5. In the 93rd match minute, Zona Pedernera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Vincente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Zona Pedernera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Obanta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
