Severiano Cordera charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Cordera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, one of Atletico River Gold:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico River Gold. The referee gave Killer Queen a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felipe Ishmael, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atletico River Gold's Maximino Rudolfo. 1-0. Amadeo Reyes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Rudolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Felipe Ishmael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Maximino Rudolfo made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Killer Queen's Felipe Ishmael slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximino Rudolfo. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. Cecilio Botello scored 2-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Abalos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Felipe Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Venerando lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Killer Queen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico River Gold:s goal. Maximino Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Elodio in the 35th minute of the match. Killer Queen's Serafin Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Botello in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Denis Rocio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico River Gold fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Rocio made a kick off. If Venancio Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Batista got free with Serafin Abalos in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Reyes took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Rudolfo. Maximino Rudolfo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Maximino Rudolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Txindoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Denis Rocio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Rudolfo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Cecilio Botello could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Serafin Abalos however easily saved by the left post. Serafin Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Rocio in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Killer Queen had won after a very even match.
