After 25 played minutes, Oncativo AFC's Erubiel Lluc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ludomir Mentus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oncativo AFC reached it. In the 27th match minute, Oncativo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Bartoli to maneuver through the defense. When Oncativo AFC's Horacio Ramone in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ludomir Mentus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Ramone in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Bartoli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ludomir Mentus was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Llorienzo to strike the kick off in the second half. Ludomir Mentus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Nuñez in the 63rd minute of the match. A hard shot 65 in the game by Ambrosio Neron from a close distance when the talented Saverio Eskuin managed to make a qualified save. Oncativo AFC's players were relieved.
