After 11 minutes, Claudio Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pepe Arena CF and the Pasleam players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Pepe Arena CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Salvatore to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Stephen having to interfere. Nicolas Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Raymond charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Raymond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pasleam booed when Pepe Arena CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Denis Oroitz came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Pepe Arena CF fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored Pasleam's protests and gave Santiago Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Urbano Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Gregorio Olando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Olando was the one to do the kick off. Felipe Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Braulio Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Pasleam's Braulio Charro threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gregorio Olando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pasleam's Gregorio Olando got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Egoi struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Braulio Charro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasleam. When Pasleam's Pedro Diegotxe in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Nicolas Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Santiago Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepe Arena CF's Braulio Charro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Olando in the 89th minute of play. Nicolas Egoi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Braulio Charro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasleam. Pasleam played a much better game than Pepe Arena CF and deserved their victory. The Pepe Arena CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
