Silvestre Osorio hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fernando Magdaleno sped through Lugano Star C.D's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnulfo Ramos. In the 13th minute, Conhello's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amador Chico fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Conhello's Fernando Magdaleno got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Fernando Magdaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Magdaleno in the 25th minute of play. Pacifico Tejadillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Lugano Star C.D's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Magdaleno came free, but Arnulfo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Lugano Star C.D was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Bernabel to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Galsino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

57 minutes into the match, Lugano Star C.D's goalkeeper Arnulfo Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Magdaleno. Fernando Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Ramos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lugano Star C.D's zone, Amadeo Tabor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Ramos came out of the goal and Amadeo Tabor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Bernabel in the 67th minute of play forced Conhello's goalkeeper Lázaro Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Amador Chico came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Lugano Star C.D fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Chico couldn't finish the play. Amador Chico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Lugano Star C.D's Amador Chico made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lázaro Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the game, Amadeo Tabor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conhello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugano Star C.D the free kick. A collision led to Conhello getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Amadeo Tabor hit a great ball. Amadeo Tabor kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Fernando Magdaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lugano Star C.D's Arnulfo Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conhello played a much better game than Lugano Star C.D and deserved their victory. The Lugano Star C.D players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
