Arnulfo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Boni in the 10th minute of the match. Denis Oroitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Arnulfo Ramos made a huge save. Andres Farias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Charro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Pacifico Tejadillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Braulio Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Charro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacifico Tejadillo in the 17th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Pepe Arena CF got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Feliz. The supporters of Lugano Star C.D booed when Pepe Arena CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Charro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Farias's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Pepe Arena CF's goal looked a bit too open when Pacifico Tejadillo came free, but Braulio Charro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lugano Star C.D's Pacifico Tejadillo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pepe Arena CF's zone, Andres Farias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Charro came out of the goal and Andres Farias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Andres Farias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Charro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Braulio Charro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Bernabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Zacarias Esdras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnulfo Ramos. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Andres Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano Star C.D's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Farias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Conrado Boni made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Pacifico Tejadillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Farias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braulio Charro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Farias's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 倪沙昆's late challenge caught a Pepe Arena CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 倪沙昆 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, 倪沙昆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lugano Star C.D getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Silvestre Osorio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pepe Arena CF's Conrado Boni got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 69th minute of the match Eduardo Gonza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnulfo Ramos skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Pacifico Tejadillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Braulio Charro, 1-2. Andres Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Braulio Charro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lugano Star C.D's Andres Farias got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 minutes, Zacarias Esdras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pepe Arena CF and the Lugano Star C.D players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pepe Arena CF's Zacarias Esdras got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Jose Eleder came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Lugano Star C.D fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Eleder couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacifico Tejadillo in the 88th minute of play forced Pepe Arena CF's goalkeeper Braulio Charro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Lugano Star C.D's Andres Farias made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Charro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Pepe Arena CF's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Farias came free, but Braulio Charro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Lugano Star C.D's Pacifico Tejadillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Braulio Charro. Braulio Charro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the match was over Lugano Star C.D could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pepe Arena CF throughout the match.
