RolonetaCosmica FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugano Star C.D the free kick. The supporters of Lugano Star C.D booed when RolonetaCosmica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, RolonetaCosmica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Farias came free, but Ismael Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Lugano Star C.D's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Ponc came free, but Arnulfo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Lugano Star C.D's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Abadie came free, but Arnulfo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lugano Star C.D's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pacifico Tejadillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Rami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Segundo Bernabel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Rami. Segundo Bernabel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 27th minute, one of RolonetaCosmica FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RolonetaCosmica FC. Ismael Rami didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres Farias went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Ponc in the 41st minute of play forced Lugano Star C.D's goalkeeper Arnulfo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Ponc was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Farias in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Rami saved RolonetaCosmica FC from getting behind. 53 minutes into the match, RolonetaCosmica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Farias came free, but Ismael Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as RolonetaCosmica FC's Severino Miliano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnulfo Ramos. That made the score 3-1 after 55 minutes of play. In the 62nd minute, Silvestre Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Ponc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Arnulfo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Lugano Star C.D's goalkeeper Arnulfo Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Miliano. When Lugano Star C.D's Pacifico Tejadillo in 72 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ismael Rami guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Lugano Star C.D's Andres Farias got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, RolonetaCosmica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Bernabel came free, but Ismael Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Farias took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Rami. Ismael Rami dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Lugano Star C.D walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
